About Me

Simon Malak, co-founder of CIRG Brokerage Inc. serves as CEO/Principal Broker. Prior to that Simon Malak founded and managed MBREG in 2015 as a value added commercial Real Estate brokerage.

Simon Malak served as President/Senior Broker for Mal-Comm Brokerage & Real Estate Group (“MBREG”). Since the time he managed MBREG, he worked on projects such as the sale and acquisition of The Thompson Hotel to the Sixty Hotel and offering of Mr. C’s Hotel for sale. Since 1994, he has been conducting business in the real estate world, from development to asset management and brokerage.

Mr. Malak has managed the acquisition, entitlements, development process for all projects developed by companies such as SY Development, HJ Development,  SJA Realty, SJA Real Estate Group, Citywide Developments. From performing feasibility studies of projects targeted for acquisition through negotiating purchase agreements to the final disposition of the projects as condominium sales to buyers.

Prior to that, he worked with Walt Disney Imagineering “WDI” – the real estate acquisition and development arm of the parent company, The Walt Disney Company. He was Director of Real Estate Acquisitions and Development from 1997-2001, managing the property development portfolio for the Disney’s California Adventure Project and the initial negotiations for the Hong-Kong Disneyland.A combined portfolio management of over $5.85 billion.

Through close contacts, he has worked with several major retail firms to negotiate agreements of franchising and leasing. Some of the major retailers that he has worked with are Jiffy Lube, EZ Lube, Phillips 66 / Conoco Phillips, Pennzoil Oil Company, Texaco/Shell Oil Company, Carl’s Jr. Restaurants, Goodyear Tire Company, Koo-Koo-Roo Chicken Restaurants, Island’s Restaurant, House of Blues, Chili’s Restaurant, Taco Bell, Logan’s Roadhouse, Starbuck’s Coffee, and the Disney Stores.
